Scopus Network Technologies, an innovator in providing end-to-end

networks has announced the opening of the company’s North American
headquarters. The company has appointed industry veteran Carlo Basile
as its president. Located in Princeton, New Jersey the new office
was opened to facilitate rapid growth for Scopus within the North
American satellite, broadcast, cable and telecommunications markets.
Basile was quoted as saying in a release: “By establishing centralised
operations in our East Coast office, we will be able to enhance
service and support for our existing client base, while developing

Basile brings to Scopus more than 20 years of experience in leading
operations, business, and engineering development for technology
companies in the consumer electronics, multimedia, and broadcast
TV industries. As president, he will be responsible for guiding
and managing the company’s continued growth within the Americas.

cable TV, and telco operators to transition smoothly and easily
into digital transmission. Built on more than 20 years experience
in digital compression algorithm development, Scopus claims that

The company’s CODICO product line supports a comprehensive, end-to-end
digital compression system for video and data distribution networks.
Lately Scopus introduced the IVNTM system topology as its latest
step forward in digital networks for content management, contribution,
and distribution applications, and as an answer to the needs of
DTH broadcasters and digital video service providers.
