VHQ, Top Notch collaborate to produce $ 30 million content

SINGAPORE: A production and post production company VHQ has entered a joint venture, worth 30 million dollars, with a UK-based television production and investment company Top Notch Productions to produce programmes for the international television market.

Top Notch Productions, a co-production and investment company with offices in Singapore and London, was set up by former BBC and Granada Factual Head John Drury. VHQ, on the other hand , has produced television commercials and long-form programming and has also offered creative services to Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, China, India, UK and USA. Their joint content creation venture launched in Singapore will produce fiction and nonfiction programmes, reality shows and animation shows.

The joint venture partners VHQ and Top Notch, who will take on the roles of both investor as well as producer, are committed to produce 48 hours of programming costing at least 30 million dollar over the next three years.
