Marshall Electronics has announced the signing of an
exclusive distribution agreement with Japan based Ikegami
Tsushinki Ltd to push its LCD monitors.
Marshall Electronics claims to be a leading supplier
of audio and video equipment to the broadcast, film, Post-Production
and multimedia markets, is now hoping to make a dent in
the Japanese broadcast and multimedia marketplace.
Under The Ikegami label, the Marshall Electronics LCD
Racks, will be sold in conjunction with the Ikegami range
of CRT Monitors and other related broadcast and multimedia
products. The new branding relationship will be in full
implementation by Spring 2002, the release states.
Ikegami will also sell Marshall broadcast and multimedia
products under the Ikegami brand in Russia, Korea, Southeast
Asia and the European Common Market. Marshall has announced
that it will be prsent at the NAB convention in Las Vegas,
USA, which is scheduled to be held from 8 - 11 April.
The entire range of LCD Monitors from 22" wide screen
HDTV ready to 2.5" LCDs with Digital/Analog video and audio
inputs will be on display at the convention, the release
states.
