Pioneer Electronics, a leading manufacturer of cable television
digital set-top boxes, unveiled the newest addition to its Voyager
product line, the Voyager 3510HD in the Anaheim Convention Center
at the Western Show which concludes today. The new competitively
priced and feature-rich set-top box has been designed to meet growing
consumer demand for high definition television (HDTV). Pioneer will
showcase this innovation along with Pioneer Digital Technologies
Inc.'s Passport 3.0 Navigation Suite.
An official release states that Pioneer's new Voyager 3510HD set-top
box enables cable operators to provide the subscribers with the
most powerful HDTV set-top box in the cable TV business. Cable customers
will be able to decode a variety of HDTV formats giving cable operators
greater flexibility in their offerings.
The release also states that Pioneer's Voyager 3510HD offers viewers
the ability to enjoy maximum picture quality from analog, digital
television and HDTV broadcasts. Voyager 3510HD offers::

At the Western show, Pioneer demonstrated the cinema quality transmission
of the Voyager 3510HD using its own award-winning plasma displays.
