Matrox has introduced Matrox RT2500 a realtime video editing system.

It allows users to add 3D effects and transitions, design eye-catching graphics and titles. Customers can also customise effects instantly. There is also no penalty in case one has a change of mind. It can be used for creating corporate promos, digital films, interactive training, wedding videos, or home movies.

Matrox RT2500 claims to offer more professional features than any other video editing card in its class. One can work with two video streams and a graphics layer, simultaneously. One can add particle effects, 3D tiles, distortion effects, 2D and 3D DVE, and transparency effects – in real time

With Matrox RT2500 one can now capture data from analog or DV tape. After editing the output can be delivered on tape, DVD, CD, and the web.

Later this month the company will introduce in Mumbai the latest offering from the MATROX RT Series - the RT.X100. Watch this space for further details.
