InterTrust

Digital Rights Management (DRM)-enabled technologies for
media broadcasting and distribution at NAB 2002.
InterTrust and its partners will show the necessary components
to construct an end-to-end content distribution system that
protects rights holder interests and delivers a compelling
entertainment experience. Rights Alliance Program is based
on RightsSystem, InterTrust's next generation DRM platform.RightsSystem
offers service providers the advantage of delivering DRM-protected
content to multiple client types with a common data centre
architecture. InterTrust deploys RightsSystem clients for
platforms including PCs, set top boxes, PVRs and mobile
communicators.
RightsSystem claims to be an ideal DRM platform for digital
TV and broadcast applications, including IP-based distribution
networks. Using its modular and scaleable design, RightsSystem
provides broad support for multiple device families and
rendering formats such as MPEG-4.
