nCUBE
Corporation, which claims to be a leading provider of on-demand
media and digital advertising solutions, and Everstream,
a provider of one-to-one and interactive advertising solutions
for the broadband, cable and satellite television industry
have announced that they have entered into a marketing and
technology distribution alliance.
Integration
of nCUBE's nABLE On-Demand Management System with Everstream's
patented advertising software will allow cable operators
to offer advertisers new opportunities to reach viewers
with a highly targeted and interactive advertising platform
through video-on-demand (VOD).
Ad-supported
VOD will be shown during the National Cable and Telecommunications
Association's (NCTA) Cable 2002 convention in New Orleans
5-8 May.
nCUBE's
on-demand solutions, including the n4x video server and
nABLE On- Demand Management System, allow cable operators
to offer subscribers a wide range of on-demand services,
from VOD to network personal video recording (nPVR). nABLE
provides operators the complete management system essential
for deploying VOD, including the nABLE Advertising application,
a one-to-one on- demand advertising solution, which will
be introduced later this year. nCUBE's recently announced
nGAGE solutions provide the most scalable digital advertising
solutions on the market today, including a Digital Program
Insertion (DPI) product capable of inserting local and regional
cable television advertising on up to 40 analog and 40 digital
channels from the same server.
Everstream's
S4 solutions enable the management and delivery of cross-
platform advertising for video on demand and interactive
programming. As an option, advertisements can be targeted
and pin-point delivered to fit consumers' needs and interests
through broadband and a variety of emerging interactive
television applications, including interactive program guides,
personal video recorders, middleware and walled gardens,
in addition to VOD.
Everstream's solutions manage and traffic advertisements
across multiple networks, locations and platforms and can
be integrated into back-office information technology to
include traffic and billing.
