Background
I'm 15 years old and am from Bangalore. Singing has been my passion since I was seven. I was asked to cut a demo tape by a former editor of a Kannada daily and he sent it to a friend in London. This was the stepping stone in my professional career. By the time I was 12, I had recorded my first English album called If I Could Dream for The Fat Music Company in the U.K.

After this I started looking for an international manager because I was very clear in my mind that I wanted to make a mark in the international arena. But I really didn't know how to go about it.

A couple of years ago Richard Grabel was invited by MTV in Mumbai to speak in the MTV seminar on "Why Indian artists don't go global?". When I heard about it I repeatedly wrote to him about my ambition but got no reply. Eventually he did reply to my numerous letters and asked me to send him a copy of my CD.

Since then, there has been no looking back. He liked my CD and decided to handle my career from there on. It took almost a year to get everything in place.

I feel very honoured and proud that I am the first Indian who has been taken on by a name as influential and powerful as Richard Grabel. He has handled the careers of international superstars like Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Sting, Shania Twain, Puff Daddy etc.

Professional Experience
My debut album is called Man Doley which is being promoted by Crescendo Music. This album will provide the base for my international singing debut later this year. There are eight tracks in this album, of which six are original. The other two tracks (Man Dole and Hawa Mein Udta Jaye) are re-mixed versions of Hindi songs which were originally sung by Lata Mangeshkar.

The video of the title song is very unique and uplifting. It has the right blend of soul rhythm and ambience.

Singing as a career choice
Singing has been my passion ever since I was seven. I want my albums and songs to be unique and different from the others. And I feel that I have been very lucky to have got a break so early in life.

Ambition
I want to conquer the international music arena and be a successful singer and I am going to work hard to get there. I desire to win a Grammy at least once in my lifetime and do my country proud… very proud!! That is my ultimate aim!

Hobbies
I devote at least six hours a day to practising my singing and dancing and enjoy every bit of it! I also like football very much.

Idea of enjoyment
I like partying with my friends, going for movies, cycling and having junk food!!!
