A Snapshot on advertising by Film Trailors & Music Albums on TV in the first half of 2007

Key Findings:

  • 64 per cent ad volumes garnered by Film Trailors in Trailors/Albums segment on TV in H1 2007.
  • June saw a peak in advertising by Film Trailors however Music Albums used maximum volumes in January 2007.
  • Equal 50 per cent ad volumes by Film Trailors during Commercial breaks and In-Program whereas high advertising by Music Albums in Commercial breaks.
  • In Commercial breaks, maximum usage of Regional GEC by Film Trailors; Music Albums preferred advertising on Regional Music channels.
  • Hindi GEC used max. by Movie Trailors and Music Albums for In-Program advertising

  • High advertising by Music Albums on Regional Music channels during Commercial breaks.

  • Approximately 50 per cent of advertising by Film Trailors in Hindi GEC during Programs.

  • Regional GEC ranks higher in Music albums than Film Trailors.

Top ten New Film Trailors and Music Albums aired on TV.

 
 
  • Out of all new launches in June 2007, maximum Film Trailors were released by 'Warner Bros Picture' whereas 'Universal Music' saw the maximum new Music Albums.
  • June 2007 saw trailor of new movies like Kaafila, Cash, Die Hard 4, etc.
