  • 50 per cent of the new brands were contributed by the Top five sub-categories.

  • 'Fair and Lovely Menz Active' topped among the new entrants in Beauty Products sector on TV in the year 2006 followed by 'Ponds Age Solution'.

Beauty Products endorsed by Celebrities on TV in the year 2006.

  • Garnier Nutrisse Hair Color Mask (endorsed by Kareena Kapoor) had the maximum 28 per cent share on TV in the year 2006.
  • L'Oreal Excellence Crème endorsed by Aishwarya Rai had a 19 per cent share.

Celebrities endorsing Beauty Products on TV in the year 2006.

  • Out of the five celebrities endorsing Beauty Products, two of them were Sports person i.e. Dhoni and Yuvraj.
  • Top two positions saw Kareena Kapoor (endorsing two brands) with 40 per cent share whereas Aishwarya Rai (endorsing three brands) with 28 per cent share on TV in 2006.
