  • News Bulletin garnered the highest 34 per cent share of advertising among the Top 5 genre of channels in January-October 2006.
  • Other 3 genre of programs mostly used are Nature/Wild Life/Environment, Feature Films and Reviews/Reports.

Top 10 Advertisers in the IT Sector on TV during January-October 2006.

 
  • 'Hewlett Packard India' on Top with 28 per cent share in the IT Sector advertising on TV in January-October 2006.
  • Lenovo and Microsoft Corporation at second and third position with 16 per cent and 15 per cent share respectively.

New Brands launched on TV in the IT Sector in the month of October 2006.

 
  • Total 5 new brands launched on TV in the IT Sector in October 2006.
  • 3 of the 5 new brands belong to 'Laptops/Notebooks' category.

Share of Commercial vs Tag Promo used in IT Sector advertising on TV during January-October 2006.
