Sanitary Ware advertising on television dipped 38% in Q1 ’05 from Q1 ’04

  • 38% dip in advertising in Q1 '05 compared to Q1 '04
  • 2004, the only year to show de-growth across 2001-04
  • 'Cera' tops the brands list in Q1 '05

This week, AdEx India looks at the 'Sanitary Wares' category. Below is the growth of advertising on TV in the 1st quarter of 2005 as compared to that of 2004

 
 
  • 38% dip in advertising in Q1 '05 compared to Q1 '04

Below is the growth of 'Sanitary Wares' advertising on TV across the years 2001-04

 
 
  • Highest growth seen in 2002 (42%)
  • De-growth of 35% in 2004 across the last 4 years

The table below shows the Top Brands, along their Advertisers, in the 1st quarter of 2005

 
 
  • Only 7 brands advertised in the category on Television in Q1 '05
  • 'Cera' of 'Madhusudan Ceramics' tops the brands slot in the 1st quarter of 2005
  • 'Ess Ess Bath Fittings' gets the 2nd position
