This week, AdEx India looks at the 'Hair Removers' category. Below is the growth in TV advertising in the 1st quarter of 2005 as compared to 1st Quarter of 2004.

Below is the growth of 'Hair Removers' category advertising on TV across the years 2001-04.

 
 
  • Category shows 28% dip in 2001 across 2000-04.
  • Post 2001, 2004 observes the maximum growth in advertising compared to 2003.

The table below shows the category spenders on TV, along with their brands advertised in the 1st quarter of 2005.

 
 
  • Category gets only three spenders in Q1 2005.
  • 'Veet' of 'Reckitt Benckiser' with 98% share of the advertising in 1st quarter of 2005
