Highlights:
- A rise of 41 per cent
was seen in the TV advertising for Education sector during Jan - Jun 2011 Vs Jan - Jun 2010.

'Educational Institutions' contributed more than 2/3rd of the share while 'Vocational Training Institutions' and 'Coaching Centre/ Competitive exams' together formed a total of more than 1/4th of pie.

'India News Media Academy' and 'Ushodaya Enterprises Limited' with 5 per cent
and 4 per cent
of the share topped the list of TV advertisers.
- Five out of top 10 advertised brands belonged to 'Educational Institutes' category whereas 4 were from 'Vocational Training Institutions' category.
- National TV Channels were preferred over regional channels by the advertisers of Education sector.
