STRATEGY
Zee Cafe this year has a one line agenda: Covering varied genres
of the English GEC pie with a keen eye on Indian programming. Drawing
from our current strength i.e. comedy it looks forward to catering
to the varied moods and fancies of an ever evolving Global Indian.
The idea is to provide content with a consistency in skew and variety
in genre.
The
channel drivers are The Best of Friends & The OC. Among the
daily specials is E! News, a smorgasbord of the latest gossip from
Hollywood, beamed straight from LA. The other unique properties
on the channel are multiple Emmy Award winners like The Sopranos,
ER, Will & Grace, differentiated properties like Joey, Comedy
Inc., Love Monkey, smash hit thrillers like Oz, Without a Trace,
fashion and lifestyle oriented content like The Cut, America's Next
Top Model, After Hrs. & Trendzsetters and finally one-off events
like Lakme India Fashion Week, Wills India Fashion Week and the
Z F Awards.
