'Real
moments of extraordinary danger amazingly captured on film'.
This
is one of the tag lines of the freshly garnished old
wine in attractive packaging - that's NGC's new twelve
part series - you can see some of the most amazing
'heart pounding action and imagery' in NGC's -well
you guessed it - Nat Geo's Most Amazing Moments.
A
sneak preview of made up of a mish mash of all the
parts meanders through various amazing moments such
as a family's survival through a 165 mph Hurricane
in Florida, a fight with a huge python in India -
the hunter almost lost his life while capturing it,
or three people who survive an avalanche in the Indian
Himalayas, the unearthing of the remains of the largest
crocodile.
It
is almost 40 feet long and wandered across what is
now desert, a novel writers first hand experience
as a war correspondent during action against the Taliban
in 2000, a descent into an active lava-spewing volcano
and much more. Interwoven are shots of the strategies
of predators as they catch prey.
NGC
have segmented these happenings into - well five action
packed segments as they call them. They will air daily
on the boob tube from Sunday, 26 March 2006 till 31
March, 2006 from 8 pm to 10 pm.
The prelude clip that was showcased in Bangalore
does increase the curiosity factor in one to want
to watch the series most expectantly, so what if one
has already seen the Amazing Moments at different
times in the past.
Didn't I say freshly garnished old wine - isn't wine
better when it's old? Nat Geo's Amazing Moments
