of the crème de la crème of Indian and international TV executives.
The Indian Telly Trade Awards is a novel service started by
Indian Television Dot Com in July 2001 to the vibrant and
fast growing cable and satellite television industry in India.
The Indian Telly Awards, an annual affair, seek to reward
the achievers amongst India's cable and satellite television
professionals, be they programmers, or marketers or CEOs or
producers or cable TV operators.
Qalam
- the first ever TV scriptwriters workshop for aspiring writers
in India, was organised by Indian Television Dot Com in December
2001. Experts from the field, including writers, programme
producers and channel executives guided participants in the
intricacies of the profession. A follow up programme, in which
selected writers undergo continued instructions in the rudiments
of the trade, is already underway.
Adwise
2002, India's first airtime buying and selling forum was organised
by Indian Television Dot Com in March 2002. Attended by industry
professionals, the forum was addressed by several experts
from the advertising fraternity and television industry.
The
Sahyadri Navratna Awards 2002 are a novel attempt to honour
Maharashtrian personalities from diverse fields for their
lifetime achievement in their respective vocations.
