on the latest movie releases on Chicks on Flicks this Friday, November
6, 8.30 pm on PIX. The duo reviews Hollywoods latest action, crime,
drama, mystery, thriller
Whiteout by director Dominic Sena, the
film revolves around U.S. Marshal Carrie Stetko who tracks a killer in Antarctica,
as the sun is about to set for six months. Followed
by the movie dedicated to all the MJ fans around the world, This is it,
pays tribute to the legendary singer Micheal Jackson. Directed by Kenny Ortega,
starring Micheal Jackson himself, the movie set to feature Jackson like one has
never seen before. The film is a compilation of interviews, rehearsals and backstage
footage of Michael Jackson as he prepared for his series of sold-out shows in
London. On
the latest DVD releases is State of Play based on the story of two
investigative reporters Cal McCaffrey (Russell Crow) and Della Frye (Rachel McAdams)
who reports for the Washington Post. They dive deeper and deeper into the death
of an assistant to Representative Stephen Collins (Ben Affleck). An affair between
the two comes out, as well as two dead bodies at the hands of a highly trained
killer in an alley, and a privatized military organization that could be pulling
all the strings. Nothing is what it seems, no one is safe, and around every turn
there is new evidence to be found out. Next on the card is The Uninvited,
starring Emily Browning, Arielle Kebbel, David Strathairn and Elizabeth Banks.
After the death of her ill mother in a fire, the young teenager Anna tries to
commit suicide and is sent to a mental institution for treatment. Ten months later,
her psychiatrist Dr. Silberling, discharges her telling that she has resolved
her issues. Her father and successful writer, Steven, brings her back home in
an isolated mansion nearby the coast. Anna finds that her mother's former nurse,
Rachel Summers, is her stepmother now. Anna meets her beloved sister, Alex. She
discovers that Steven has not delivered the letters and CDs that Alex had sent
to her. As time moves on, Anna is haunted by ghosts and she believes that Rachel
killed her mother. Alex and Anna decide to look for evidences to prove that Rachel
