on-air contest that has been on from 21 March and will go on till 27 March 2009
from 7 – 11 AM on their morning show ‘Kasa Kaay Pune’ with their
beloved RJ Abhijeet. On this festive day, maharashtrians put up Gudhi’s in
their house as a symbol of prosperity and peace.Radio City will enhance this celebration
with RJ Abhijeet inviting it’s listeners to participate through sms.The most
interesting responses will be chosen and the RJ will host a live show from the
homes of 10 lucky listeners on this auspicious occasion day.
Marking
the beginning of a new Hindu calendar, Bengaluru’s Radio City 91.1 FM celebrates
Swarana Ugadi, with a week long celebration on their morning show ‘Whatte
Fun Mornings’ with RJ Kiran, giving its listeners a chance to win Gold coins.
From March 23 to March 28, 2009 listeners need to register via SMS and the RJ
would invite them to play the on-air contest asking them to pin the Virtual Wheel
created by the station with Bheeu (neem leaves) and Bella (jaggery).If the wheel
stops at Chinna (Gold) the listener wins a gold coin and if it stops on Bella
he would get 5 Kgs of jaggery. In
addition to this, taking the brand to its listeners, Bengaluru’s Radio City
91.1 FM on March 27, 2009 will host LIVE shows from a Bubble studio set up at
Garuda Mall. Joining this unique initiative will be a host of RJs – RJ Pradeep,
RJ Rajesh, RJ Maya, RJ Vinayak Joshi and RJ Kiran, who will reach out to the cityzens
of Bangalore and provide them with a chance to win Gold coins, while they also
