The popular comedy show Dekh India Dekh on Sony Entertainment Television will
witness a change in its format starting July 4, 2009.
Dekh India Dekh
had popular television actors enacting gags as different characters like Akbar
& Birbal played by Rajesh Kumar & Rajiv Nigam; Havaldar Kadam & Havaldar
Kaale played by Ali Asghar & VIP; Baiju played by Krushna & Bawra by Sudesh
Lahiri; Malti Manohar Mishra played by Gaurav Gera and Swapnil Joshi as the hen-pecked
Jignesh Shah. The actors were put in different situations like discotheque, traffic
signals etc to make it look life-like. However with the change with the format,
these artists go back to the comfort of stand-up comedy in the studio but they
still maintain their characters. Shekhar Suman who earlier hosted the show is
now back to judging it along with Archana Puran Singh and the charming Shweta
Gulati takes on the role of the new host. There
will not be any elimination and Dekh India Dekh will continue to be all about
comedy, jokes and a lot of fun. So,
tune into the new Dekh India Dekh starting this Saturday, July 4, 2009 at 10.00
p.m. only on Sony Entertainment Television. |
