Brooke Bond Taj Mahal, as a part of its initiative with the Enlighten
Film Society is all set to showcase world cinema to its discerning
audiences. Taj Enlighten Film Society screened the classic black
and white movie in the today’s colourful environment by the
director of the film Shivajee Chandrabhushan. Others gracing the
occasion Gauri and cast of the movie.
 ‘FROZEN’-
Frozen is a monochrome film based on the life of a family living
in peace in the Northern Himalayan mountains. The film depicts the
life of a family whose dream like existence is interrupted by inevitable
odds, one after the other. The plot is based on life in Ladakh and
was shot in extreme weather conditions, in minus 30 degrees celsius,
at an average height of 1500 ft above sea level. Frozen won over
14 awards from IAAC, New York to Grand Prix for Best Feature, Vladivostok
International Film Festival, Russia, also made its presence at more
than 30 film festivals across the globe from Pusan to Toronto, and
from Palm Springs to Rotterdam.
