Mr. Harrish M Bhatia, COO, 94.3 MY FM was presented the “Radio Personality
of the Year Award” at the recently held 3rd Indy’s Awards function held
in Hotel Taj Lands End, Mumbai. The Indy’s Awards recognize outstanding performances
in the field of communication. Mr. Bhatia was also chairing a session at the Global
Youth Marketing Forum. Mr.
Bhatia’s keen understanding of the Radio medium & the Market and his
commitment towards the industry has earned him much recognition within a very
short span of time after taking over as the Charge of MY FM. He has been the driving
force behind the launch of MY FM 17 station network & has been spearheading
innovations in the Radio Product. An active and vocal member of the radio fraternity,
Mr. Bhatia has been writing guest articles for various publications. Mr. Bhatia
is currently the VP - Northern Region with AROI. Before
this, he was with the Bhaskar group as VP - Sales and Marketing. Mr. Bhatia is
an old hand at The Bhaskar Group. He has the credit of launching Divya Bhaskar
in Gujarat in 2003 to himself. Since 2005, he had been in Mumbai as Vice President
- Sales and Marketing for South and West. During his tenure at Mumbai, the business
showed tremendous growth. Prior
to joining Bhaskar, he was the National Product Head at the Korean Multinational
LG Electronics in India. He was also responsible for the launch of LG Door Cooling
Refrigerators in India and prior to that, he has worked with brands like Onida
& Aristocrat Luggage. Expressing
his gratitude on receiving the award, Mr. Harrish M Bhatia commented “I’m
