DELHI: The favourite FM channel of Indore, MY FM, has done it again.
A crowd-puller from the day it was launched, MY FM is involving
the Corporates of Indore in strategies outside the boardroom. Aptly
titled the "Clash of the Titans", MY FM's Cricket Corporate
tournament began in the middle of January and attracted Top Corporate
Houses in Indore to head for the fieldalbeit in the cricketing
gear. The "Clash of the Titans" began with 32 teams from
companies like Bridgestone, Bharti Airtel, HDFC, Nokia NSN, Lingua
Franca, and Bajjaj Allianz amongst others.
Indore
had never before seen its head honchos unwind and unleash that special
energy that keeps their companies notching one milestone after another.
But, MY FM has achieved the unimaginable with its tournament for
the corporates and proving that the movers and shakers of corporate
world can set the sporting arena ablaze with their deft moves and
skills. To top it all the bonhomie and sportsmanship on display
is to be seen to be believed and is keeping the average Indoreans
glued to the games.
The
tournament is in a T 10 format with 16 knockout matches, 8 pre-quarters,
quarterfinals, semi finals and finals. Keeping the busy Executives'
time constraints in mind, MY FM has scheduled the "Clash of
the Titans" around weekends. No wonder, corporate teams are
having a ball without hitting upon their work schedules.
With
the "Clash of the Titans" in the finals stage this week,
the excitement is mounting and the competition is fiercer than ever.
The four Semi-Finalists were Bridgestone Samurai, P Trade Fighters,
Sayaji 11 and Shree Ganesh Telecom Tigers and they will be fighting
it out this weekend for the top spot.
Commenting
on the initiative MY FM's Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Harrish M
Bhatia remarked,"Seeing the huge response to the Clash of the
Titans, we are not only happy to have hosted this tournament but
also to have brought in a spot of difference to the lives of the
busy executives. We are a cricket crazy nation and the appeal of
the game is across all sectionsfrom boys playing gulli cricket
to our industry leaders. Cricket is extremely popular in Indore
as well as can be seen from the phenomenal response to the tournament.
We have a very special celebration planned for the end of the tournament."
