You have the Right, Vote for the Right Says BIG FM Hyderabad through a unique ‘Animal Rally’

MUMBAI: In keeping with the current vibe of elections, BIG 92.7 FM, Hyderabad in its continuing endeavor to create awareness and get people to use their rights correctly, has come up with a unique way to spread the message and get people to utilize their rights correctly. The campaign aptly titled ‘You have the Right, Vote for the Right’ encourages not just voting but ‘positive voting’ which emphasize on electing a right candidate. The campaign which kick-started on the Station on April 6th and will culminate on April 16th - the voting day in Hyderabad. As part of the campaign a first-of-its-kind ‘Animal Rally’ was organized today from People’s Plaza, Necklace Road with Horses and Camels. Dr. I V Subba Rao, Chief Electoral Officer, AP flagged-off the rally with BIG FM RJ’s voicing the ‘You have the Right, Vote for the Right’ slogan to the people of Hyderabad.

The idea behind an ‘Animal Rally’ is to communicate – animals can’t speak but you can, you have the right to vote and elect a right candidate – so use your vote positively and vote for the right candidate. Do not vote for ‘Corruption, Do not vote for Criminals’. The ‘Positive voting’ message is promoted heavily on-air especially in the station’s breakfast show hosted by RJ Shekar. RJ Shekhar covers all the latest developments on the political front on the show and while providing listeners with information, also spreads the clear message to Vote!

Commenting on the occasion RJ Shekar said, “As a responsible media brand it is our endeavor to positively impact society through the holistic offerings from the Station. We have conceptualized this unique, first of its kind campaign, using animals so that we can demonstrate to people how they need not be herded like animals, but have the ability to think and make a difference, in this case, with reference to their right to vote. We have received some very good initial feedback from the local populace and are confident that this campaign will be an eye-opener for those who take this right of theirs lightly.”
