CNN-IBN lends a helping hand for the Bihar flood victims Announces special promo series

MUMBAI: CNN-IBN has taken a special initiative to come forward and help in rehabilitation of the flood victims of Bihar where more than hundreds of villages have been washed away, thousands dead and still so many more struggling to survive each day. With its special programming initiative, CNN-IBN invites its viewers to come forward and help in aid for Bihar flood victims through a special helpline number and email info@savethechildren.in where people can make their contribution. CITIZENS FOR BIHAR a special programming series will feature film stars and sports personalities who have lent a supporting hand for this noble cause. The series will be on air from 29th September 2008, Monday and will continue till 2nd October 2008.



Along with the promos, there will be daily edit stories throughout the day on CNN-IBN and will feature specials on how ordinary people in Bihar with their extraordinary involvement have made a big difference in the lives of many flood victims. Be it local NGOs doing work or common people serving food to the hungry. CNN-IBN will bring together all these stories and more from ground zero.
