NDTV Convergence and Wipro Infotech, the India and Middle East arm are organising
a thought leadership seminar 'Vision 2020 Financial Services Sector'. To
be held on 12 September, the summit is focused on the evolutionary process of
Indian BFSI segment. The
seminar will see speakers discussing topics like the future of private and retail
banking, mergers and acquisitions, and competition and challenges in the financial
sector in the Year 2020. The keynote speaker for the event is Reserve Bank of
India deputy governor Usha Thorat. Some
of the other speakers are State Bank of India chairman OP Bhatt, The Oriental
Insurance Company CMD M Ramadoss, Standard Chartered CEO Neeraj Swaroop-and Development
Credit Bank chairman Naseer Munjee . Besides
internationally renowned business strategist Ross Dawson will address delegates
at the conference. Dawson
said, "I am very excited to be visiting Mumbai to speak at the Vision 2020
conference. Banking is at the heart of the global economy, and technology is its
lifeblood. India's future depends on how well it uses technology in financial
