MUMBAI:
Bal Ganesh bagged the Lil STAR Awards 2008 in
India presented by Red Chillies Entertainment for the Best
Animated Film & the Best Animated Character
on 31 October 2008 at a star studded award function at Yash Raj
Studios. The other nominees in these two categories were Ghatothkach
-Master of Magic, Return of Hanuman and Dashavatar.
Red
Chillies presented Indias first ever Lil STAR Awards
with its unique format, which empowers the kids to judge and
select their favourites.
Bal
Ganesh has won the award based on a national survey conducted across
25 cities amongst thousands of children who have all voted for their
best animated film and best animated character.
The
final jury for the awards consisted of young popular child prodigies
who have proved their mettle in the field of acting time and again
in different mediums like films and television headed by Mrs. Neetu
Kapoor.
