From ‘Bajaate Raho’ to ‘Khaate Raho’… RED FM gives its
listeners a unique chance to ‘vote’ for the best restaurant in town!!!
Delhi, known for its wide variety of cuisines makes the capital a haven for the
gourmets. Keeping the yummy cuisine of Delhi in mind, Delhi’s favorite radio
station RED FM has launched ‘RED FM Khaana No. 1’, a unique on-air segment
on Morning No. 1 from May 12.  The
very popular RJ Nitin, a self-proclaimed foodie himself, has introduced ‘RED
FM Khaana No. 1’ on his show Morning No. 1, giving his listeners a unique
opportunity of being food critics on air! On ‘RED FM Khaana No. 1’ RJ
Nitin will announce two different dishes from the platter. Listeners can then
call in and nominate the best eatery in Delhi for the particular dishes. The eatery
with the maximum number of votes is declared as the winner on-air and the chef
is invited to the studio and awarded with a Certificate.
Commenting
on this unique on-air property, Akash Verma, Station Head, Delhi said, “RED
FM prides itself in identifying the pulse of the city. Delhi’s love for culinary
delights is evident, from paranthas in the galis of Chandni Chowk to kakori kababs

This
contest, currently on air, is receiving tremendous response through thousands
of votes pouring from all over Delhi from fans of various eateries. Moti Mahal
at Dariyaganj was declared as the first winner on receiving the maximum number
of votes for the place serving the best Dal Makhani in Delhi. Mr. Vinod Chaddha
of Moti Mahal got an opportunity to thank his supporters on Morning No. 1 and
also received a certificate of excellence from Red FM. |
