Spice Telecom (Spice) today announced the launch of a new plan called
Small Ways to Talk Big exclusively for its Karnataka
subscribers.
Some
of the features and price points of the new plan are: With the launch
of GPRS 24 hours internet surfing subscribers of Spice can use unlimited
browsing, chatting and downloading facility for a daily rental of
Rs 24; Customers can make ISD calls at Rs 1 per min with a rental
of Rs 19 per weekend; STD calls can be made at 79 paise per min
at a rental of Rs 19 per weekend; Youth also can send up to 75 SMS
free on week days and 100 local SMS free on weekends with a daily
rental of Rs.6/-. This tariff is valid for both post-paid and pre-paid
subscribers.
Commenting on the launch of free local SMS service, Spice Karnataka,
COO Rakesh Singh stated that, "Spice has been providing its
subscribers with exciting products and services. The launch of GPRS
and SMS Day Pack, that gives Spice subscribers freedom to send up
SMS and use unlimited internet, is another such exciting service
from Spice. Messaging service is one of the fastest growing and
the most popular value added service, with the launch of SMS Day
pack and GPRS; we hope to be able to provide our valued subscriber
with a faster, economical and exciting mode of communication."
Spice has launched a similar offer in the other circle that it offers
in Punjab sometime ago with a slight variation in tariffs and timing.
