MUMBAI:
Desi or Metro- it's all fine for fun and competition but at heart
they are all just one. This is precisely what the kids communicate
in this week episode of GINI & JONY Chak De Bachche Friday &
Saturday, 9pm on 9X.
This week’s episode will begin with the entire crew, judges
and the audience paying homage to the Jaipur blast victims and appeal
to people to spread happiness, hope, love and harmony in each other’s
lives and make this world a better place to live. This is followed
by heart rendering performance by all the kids on the song 'Allah
Tero Naam’. Through this act, they convey the message of importance
of solidarity in our country and endorse the view that despite their
diverse backgrounds, they are all one!
 The
judges on their part are highly moved as Raveena Tandon recites
a beautiful poem about the aftermath of terrorism. The kids create
a solemn mood with their stirring performances on some all time
popular patriotic songs like: Zindagi Maut Na Ban Jaye, Aye Mere
Watan Ke, Bharat Humko Jaan Se, Suno Gaur Se Duniya Walon and many
more. What’s more touching will be their thought and words
of wisdom for their fellow countrymen. The show will also highlight
some of the shocking incidences that these young participants have
faced in their lives.
To spread the message of evils of terrorism, Sriti Jha of Jiya
Jale fame, who is also from Jaipur, and Dahhej lead cast will make
an appearance on this special episode. Singing sensation, Kailash
Kher will also make a special appearance to endorse his views on
peace and unity in diversity. The mood created is one with a difference
and needless to say there were no eliminations this time.
After the somber performances on Friday, the participants get back
to their jolly old selves and this time, they rap it up with some
sizzling salsa hip hop, dazzling disco and jazzy tunes. As the participants
set our feet tapping, there is another surprise waiting and this
time it is Manoj Tiwari spelling it! He swings along the western
mood with a complete makeover. The champion of the Desi Dhurandars
leaves everyone zapped with his new avatar wherein he appears with
gelled spiky hairstyle, sunglasses and complete rock star look.
