Adam Gilchirst has always allowed his bat and his gloves to do the
talking but today was different, in the company of the man with
the silken touch Hyderabads very own VVVS Laxman, Gilchrist took
to the mike as a Radio Jockey on BIG 92.7 FM. They need just a little
bit of prodding from RJ Chetan and post that they were on their
own interacting with the cricket crazy listeners of BIG 92.7 FM.
 Keeping
with the vibe of the city which is clearly cricket, and given the
‘Bindaas’ positioning of the Station, BIG 92.7 FM, Hyderabad’s
favorite radio station and the official radio partner for the team
‘Deccan Chargers’ in its continuous efforts to offer a
wholesome entertainment mix for their listeners, put together this
innovative programming offering, which was thoroughly enjoyed by
the people of the city and very well received with huge participation.
As
BIG 92.7 FM partners Deccan Chargers, breakfast jock, RJ Shekar
conducted a contest wherein listeners SMS their ticket numbers to
BIG FM and randomly picked 20 lucky winners got to meet with Adam
Gilchrist and VVS Laxman. The contest was run to create excitement
around IPL matches and to deliver value to the BIG FM listeners.
This again was well received by listeners who thronged the BIG FM
studios to meet with their favorite cricket stars.
