| Ever
wondered what life would be like if a new form of sea life began to appear in
locales all over the earth? Explore a mysterious world that exists in the depths
of the ocean with the premiere of a brand-new series Surface on Tuesday 26 June
at 1am on Star World. During
a routine submersible dive in the North Pacific Ocean, California oceanographer
Laura Daughtery (Lake Bell) is attacked by an unknown life form that appears out
of a field of craters on the ocean's floor.
A North Carolina teen, Miles Barnett (Carter Jenkins), finds himself face to face
with the strange sea creature after falling off his wakeboard during a nighttime
outing with his friends. Meanwhile, an insurance salesman Richard Connelly (Jay
R. Ferguson), a Louisiana man on a fishing trip, loses his brother in a suspicious
diving accident when a creature drags him to the depths of the Gulf of Mexico.
All of them find their lives fundamentally changed by the emergence of new, and
often dangerous, species of sea life, while the government agents work to keep
the affair under wraps. Surface
is entertainment for all ages in the tradition of E.T. and Close Encounters,
explains the shows creator Josh Pate. It will have action, suspense,
thrills and heart as we track the fantastic into the familiar. This series will
plumb the depths of suspense. Embark
on a journey full of surprises and discover the mystery that lurks beneath the
deep blue ocean as Surface makes a splash on Thursday June 26, at 1 am only on
Star World. Surface
