Omkara and Anuranan being awarded at the 54th National
Film Awards held in New Delhi. The
critically acclaimed award-winning box-office hit Omkara is a Shemaroo
Entertainment Presentation. Director Vishal Bharadwaj won the jury's award for
The Best Director for Omkara and Konkona Sen Sharma won The
Best Supporting Actress for Omkara. The
new wave of Bengali Cinema Anuranan was presented by Shemaroo Entertainment
and Screenplay Films with Rahul Bose, Rituparna Sengupta, Raima Sen and Rajat
Kapoor playing the lead cast. Anuranan won The Best Bengali
