MUMBAI:
West Indies will hope to get over their disappointment of losing
the Test series 2-1 after winning the first Test, by putting up
a good performance in the second Twenty20 international against
South Africa, and the following five-match one-day international
series.
West
Indies won the first Twenty20 international, and would definitely
hope for a clean sweep at Johannesburg on 18 January. And Ten Sports,
the most watched sports channel of the sub-continent, will be there
to bring live coverage of the match, starting 9:30 pm IST.
The
second and last Twenty20 match will be followed by the five ODIs
at Centurion (20 January), Cape Town (25 January day-night),
Port Elizabeth (27 January), Durban (1 February day-night)
and the final match at Johannesburg (3 February). All the five ODIs
will be live and exclusive on Ten Sports.
South
Africa drafted in all-rounder Justin Ontong for the Twenty20 and
ODIs. Ontong has shown good form with bat this season, and he is
expected to replace Herschelle Gibbs for the first ODI, who has
opted out due to personal reasons.
West
Indies will be praying for return to fitness of captain Chris Gayle,
who could not play the final Test with a hamstring injury.
Ten
Sports will also be telecasting the five-match ODI series between
Zimbabwe and Pakistan in Pakistan starting next week.
