MUMBAI:
Following the high decibels of hype and excitement in cities across
the country, Chipak Ke Jeeto, India's biggest Radio Realty Show
and the biggest endurance test of all times, presented by BIG 92.7
FM in association with Hyundai Motors' newly launched Hyundai i10
kick started on the eve on January 11, 2007 across the cities of
Mumbai at In Orbit Mall, Delhi at MGF mega city, Gurgaon, Kolkata
at Eedf ground and Hyderabad at Prasad Imax. The on ground arrangements
are being put together by BIG Events.
At
the strike of 17:00hours, the event was flagged off simultaneously
across the 4 metros by eminent celebrities' who were there to cheer
the participants and wish them luck. Each of the venues saw people
flocking to the place in herds to wish the participants luck and
witness the endurance test live! Keeping in mind the level of difficulty
and challenge involved in the contest, BIG 92.7 FM has ensured a
host of amenities to ensure participants' requirements are taken
care of. An emergency medical center, ambulance, security, special
rest rooms, doctor recommended food as per diet, tight security,
monitors to ensure tracking of the participants etc. has all been
ensured. BIG 92.7 FM will be covering the event live from the venue
and will cover interesting insights of participants, how touch the
competition was, parents' / friends' feedback and the excitement
amongst the crowds. The BIG RJ's will be at the venue 24x7 covering
the event with their witty take and pep talks to boost the morale
of the participants.
The event will see a whole lot of celebrities coming over to cheer
the participants along with the jocks and the crowds.
In
addition, BIG 92.7 FM has already applied for the Limca Book of
World Records and a representative will visit the venues in the
cities of Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata where participants will be fighting
each other for the prestigious title. On successful completion of
the contest, Limca Book officials will certify the winner of Chipak
Ke Jeeto and enter his/her name into the record books.
The
event was flagged off by Actress Hanssika Motwani (from Aapka Saroor
fame) and music director cum singer Anand Raj Anand amidst a huge
crowd in Mumbai. In Hyderabad the event was flagged off by famous
Telugu actor Raja along with the crew of "happy days"
movie. In Kolkata the event was flagged off by actor Parambrato
and BIG 92.7 RJs among a huge crowd of people cheering the participants
there was also one wild card entry in Kolkata. Representatives from
Limca book of records were present at the venue and in Delhi the
event was flagged off by Mr Punit Mathur, Station Director, BIG
92.7 FM.
Before
the event was flagged off a small briefing session was conducted
for the participants to take them through the rules and regulation
of the contest. Among the spectators there were cheerleaders, relatives
of participants who enthusiastically cheered the participants to
keep their morale up. BIG 92.7 FM through its outdoor broadcasting
studio broadcasted the event live on-air in all the centres.
