Follow the IPL Auction LIVE on IBN 7

 

MUMBAI: After a successful auction of various Indian Premier League teams, the IPL Cricket Board will now auction its 85-player squad in what will be the first of its kind in Cricket history! On Wednesday, February 20 IBN 7 will cover all the action LIVE through the day with virtual sets and high use of graphics showing player profiles and bid amounts through a 'Boli Meter'. The extensive and vivid coverage will then be followed by a one-hour special, 'Big Bazaar' at 10 pm featuring highlights and in-depth analysis of the day's proceedings.

Beginning early in the day, the IPL auction is expected to commence at 10:30 am and last till the evening. IBN 7 will be present on location to bring its viewers the most up-to-the-minute happenings LIVE all through the day in the newswheel. The status of the bids made on the players by team proprietors like Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, Mukesh Ambani, etc. will be shown in a 'Boli Meter'. This unique indicator will continuously showcase the bid amount and the various fluctuations that ensue before the highest bid is sealed. This in turn will be supplemented with high-end graphics displaying detailed player profiles. In other words, IBN 7 viewers would witness a vivid visual display of the auction, including the bids made, with the help of its state-of-the-art virtual sets and graphics!

At the end of the day, once the auction is concluded, IBN 7 will present 'Big Bazaar' - a one-hour round-up special hosted by Darain Shahidi. The special show will feature auction highlights, the amount bid on each of the players by the teams, reactions of the bidders and in-depth analysis.
