MUMBAI:
Amrita TV which launched its music reality show "Lux Super
Star Global" in July 2007 reaches its climax on April 5 and
will be telecast Live . The winner selected through SMS votes bags
a Mercedes-Benz, a first in music reality shows--while the runner-up
gets a Swift

over 20,000 aspirants registering for auditions in India ,USA,UK
and UAE,emerged 21 contestants who fought it out in 180 hourly episodes
spread over eight months
The
three finalists are Jeetu (19) from Mumbai, Roopa(23) from Cochin
and Teena(19) from Calicut
The
Grand Finale of " Lux Super Star Global" will be witnessed
by an invited audience of nearly 5000 persons in an open-air auditorium
at Trivandrum on April 5 from 6.30 pm and telecast Live worldwide
.The three-hour Finale will consist of a gala entertainment programme
which will be interspersed with competing performances of the three
contestants and will be attended by celebrities from the field of
music,cinema and performing arts besides clients,media and opinion
leaders.
The
reality show witnessed a gamut of interesting segments like Romance
Round,Viewers Request,Celebrations Round,Duet Round,Remix Round,Vani
Jayaram Special,Fusion,Medley,Judges's Choice,Caelebrity Pick,Dance
Numbers,Non-Filmi Songs,Performance Round et al
The
8- 9 pm prime time slot vacated by "Super Star Global"
on Amrita TV is taken over by the brand new second edition of "Vanita
Ratnam-2"--the pioneering reality show for mothers.
