It's budget-o-nomics on Times Now

 

Mumbai: TIMES NOW, the 24 hour English news television channel of big stories now brings millions of Indian viewers the BIG stories from Budget 2007. As heart beat fastens and the Budget anxiety grips people harder, TIMES NOW eases the Budget pressure with the most simplified presentation of Budget news in this series of special programming line-up - 'Budget-O-Nomics.' Starting February 19, 2007, viewers will get the minute-by-minute update and analysis of Budget 2007 only on TIMES NOW.

Commenting on the special budget line-up on the channel, Sunil Lulla, CEO, TIMES NOW said, "This year we have a robust programming line-up for the Budget 2007 – 'Budget-O-Nomics' will aim at presenting first hand credible news and analysis of Budget to TIMES NOW viewers. With leading economists like Swaminathan AAiyer and Omkar Goswami joining in, viewers will get the complete picture of the Budget as it is on the channel."

Swaminathan Aiyar is the author of the much acclaimed book Swaminomics and is considered to deliver the most conclusive verdict on the Union Budget year after year. Also on the panel is Dr Omkar Goswami, Chairperson of CERG Advisory, one of the best known names in macro-economic analysis and a well known TV personality in his own right.

Staring 19 February, the Pre-Budget programming line-up includes Budget Debates on three critical topics: Chidambaram's Challenges, ' India and The World' and 'Bridging Two Indias'. Catch TIMES NOW, Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami with Swaminathan Aiyar and Omkar Goswami on these special debates.
