Dainik Bhaskar to be Punjab’s first all colour newspaper

 

MUMBAI: Bhaskar group’s Dainik Bhaskar's Amritsar and Jalandhar edition will be launched as all colour. This is the first newspaper in Punjab to have all its pages in colour. Dainik Bhaskar is known for its colour printing among newspapers and has always been leader in the process of enhancing colour content in newspapers.

Project head Dharmendra Atri says," This is in sync of Bhaskar’s philosophy of taking care of the readers need and providing them the best possible product. We have recently invested 25 crore for upgrading colour technology across group and upgrade other editions also to full colour. Currently Dainik Bhaskar among the regional language newspapers has the maximum colour pages across editions. Dainik Bhaskar, Jaipur recently went all colour and Indore is to follow soon."

Bhaskar Group is a 2000 crore business conglomerate with strong presence in Newspapers, Television, Entertainment, Printing, Textiles, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Oils, Solvents and Internet Services.

The results of the NRS 2006 show that the Bhaskar Group is the largest read newspaper group with a readership of 265 million (Dainik Bhaskar 209 million plus Bhaskar in Gujarat 57 million, including S Samachar )

The group has raced to the top of the print media industry in India with its flagship Hindi daily newspaper, Dainik Bhaskar, and the Gujarati newspaper, Divya Bhaskar. Brand 'Bhaskar' is today of households across India and the corporate world alike.
