25, 2006: She’s the sister of Bollywood’s most versatile actress, Kajol
and daughter of the yesteryear’s actress, Tanuja. The gorgeous Tanisha’s
talent could be attributed to her genes. Now watch this vivacious actress in her
new role… cheering children on India’s biggest talent hunt for kids,
‘Rin Mera Star SUPERSTAR’ this Friday, September 29, 2006, at 7:30pm
only on Star Plus.  And
it seems Tanisha was completely bowled over by the show. In her words, “The
show is absolutely awesome. And the participating children are just fabulous.
Frankly, these children are on par with professionals. It’s been an absolutely
wonderful experience…I can just imagine how nervous these kids must be, yet
they are doing a fantastic job…hats off to them and their moms.”
The
competition in this episode was so intense that the judges found it difficult
to choose the best out of the incredibly talented kids. Finally, as they were
unable to decide the best of the best, they relented with giving 3 contestants
10/10 on the whitometer. Unlike any other episode where only 2 contestants go
to the next round, in this episode 3 contestants made it to the ‘maa sangram’
round. Post the show, Jury, Sachin Pilgoankar commented, “This episode
was not only testing the talent of these 3 kids, but it was a test for Farida
Jalal and myself as well as. It was an extremely difficult task to choose from
these talented 3. However unfortunately the child who Jury voted for did not make
it and as the audience was emotionally driven by the mother’s plea they made
the other contestant win.” To find out who amongst this talented trio
captured the attention of the judges ….which mother’s plea worked wonders
for her child?? Who the audience voted for….and finally the unexpected end…… Tune
