There's always something to look forward to on Star World
And September is no exception! From the most exciting beauty contest in the world
to the most electrifying musical event of the year
From a psychological
suspense thriller to a star-studded talk show lineup to the return of some old
favorites in an all-new season. Get set for an exciting and entertaining month
only on Star World! It's that time of the year again - when beautiful women
all over the world compete for a pageant which has distinguished itself with its
philosophy of "Beauty With A Purpose"- Miss World 2006. This year, beauties
from every continent will vie for the honour of service and ambassadorship with
a combination of grace and external beauty. Starting September 16th, Star World
introduces you to each continent's bevy of beauties in separate half-hour programmes
and specials and tune in to the LIVE telecast on September 30th. Here's to a whole
month of Miss World excitement on your television sets. And the queen of
talk shows, Simi Garewal brings some of the freshest celebrity faces of Bollywood
to bare all and exciting new episodes this month. Notch another one for Simi as
she goes to Hong Kong to interview international martial-arts superstar, Jackie
Chan! Simi gets Jackie to let down his guard. He reveals the truth about his childhood,
his stunts and Hollywood; and for the first time reveals mysteries about his loves
and marriage in a one-hour special episode on September 3rd. Watch another enjoyable
episode on September 10th with Lara Dutta as she talks about life before Miss
Universe, about her co-stars and her relationship with boyfriend Kelly. Also watch
a heart-warming episode with Esha and Ahana Deol, who return to the show as guests
after seven years on September 24th. Gear up for the excitement on Rockstar:
Supernova, as the three phenomenal legends- Motley Crue's Tommy Lee, Guns 'n'
Roses' Gilby Clarke and Metallica's Jason Newsted end their search for a lead
singer in a worldwide search of epic proportions in the Grand Finale episode on
September 14th. This month, Star World also showcases the nation's most
dangerous criminal minds in a psychological thriller- Criminal Minds, starting
September 3rd. It differs from many criminal system procedural dramas by focusing
on the criminal rather than the crime itself. Criminal Minds follows an elite
squad of profilers who analyse the country's most twisted serial criminal minds,
anticipating their next move before they strike again. Fascinating for its highly-deductive,
yet essentially intuitive scenarios, the series has won good reviews for its beautiful
visual style and strong casting. This September also sees the return of
old favorites. Enterprise returns with numerous shocking visual effects on September
9th. Set in the 22nd century, nearly 100 years before James T. Kirk, the show
takes place during the early pioneering days of deep space exploration, when interstellar
travel is in its infancy and the United Federation of Planets is still decades
away. And you can't resist Everybody Loves Raymond and neither can anyone else!
One of the decade's most successful series, and winner of 15 Emmys, plus numerous
other awards and nominations, this is one of those hard-to-come-by gems on TV
that's worth watching
.over and over again. An old favourite that never fails,
watch out for an all-new season on Star World starting September 11th. So
this September, treat yourself to some non-stop entertainment with the best of
beauty, glamour, thrills and comedy, all through the month, only on Star World About
