Watch Cameron Diaz 'unmask' herself at Inside the Actors Studio this Sunday on PIX

MUMBAI: Meet Cameron Diaz this Sunday, 8 October 2006 on Inside the Actors Studio. Describing herself as "adventurous, independent and tough" Cameron reveals she left home at 16 and for the next 5 years her existence was that of a vagabond as she travelled through Japan, Australia, Mexico, Morocco, and Paris.

Returning to California at the age of 21, she was working as a model when she auditioned for a big part in The Mask. To her amazement and despite having no previous acting experience, she was cast as the female lead in the film opposite Jim Carrey. Another Big Box office hit was My Best Friend's Wedding, which soon followed on the heels of the first success.

She also earned a full fledged star status in 1998 for her performance in the box office smash There's Something about Mary. With her name near the top on virtually every list of Hollywood’s sexiest actresses, and firmly established as one of the industry’s hottest properties, Cameron Diaz possesses everything necessary to become one of the superstars of the new century.
