The fiesta of lights has brought fresh rays of optimism in the lives of Priyanka
and Rahul Lamba. The news of Priyanka’s pregnancy has filled the families
of the Lambas and the Kharbandas with bliss, and the two enemies are looking forward
to end their 35 year long hostility and rejoice together this Diwali. The overjoyed
mum– to–be is affirmative that this baby will be the one to bridge the
gap created between the two families and bring around the happy times which they
once shared together. Meera informs her husband Raman Lamba about Priyanka’s
pregnancy, he is elated on hearing the news and promises Meera to extend his hand
of friendship and decides to bury the hatchet with the Kharbandas. On the other
hand, the ever-ecstatic Kailash Kharbanda reciprocates in the same way. So finally
the task that Rahul and Priyanka had always strived for is being accomplished.
Conveying the messages to each other, both the families start the preparations
for Diwali. What shape will this happy occasion take, with Priyanka’s
first Diwali after marriage and the revival of friendship between the two families?
