has bagged the award for 'The Best Comedy Show on Television' at the
RAPA (Radio and Television Advertising Practitioners' Association
of India) Awards this year.
In February 2006, The Great Indian Comedy Show (TGICS) donned a
new look, as the Laughter Champions (Raju Srivastav, Sunil Pal,
Gurpreet Ghuggi & Deepak Raja) took over as the stand-up hosts
of the show, and continued to topple people off their seats with
laughter! TGICS also boasts of a sensational ensemble cast along
with the inimitable Ranvir Shorey & Vinay Pathak. TGICS has
proved to be not just a show… but a medical mission to cure
weeknight blues with experimental laughter therapy!
The RAPA Awards were instituted thirty years ago and are recognized
nationwide by the radio and television professionals. Every year,
