Zee Sports To Telecast India and Japan AFC Asian Cup 2007 Qualifier Live and Exclusive

 
New Delhi, February 20: Much to the delight of Indian Soccer fans, Zee Sports will telecast the AFC Asian Cup 2007 between India and Japan LIVE and Exclusive from Yokohama Japan on February 22 from 4:00 pm onwards. Zee Sports ace anchor Mayanti Langer will present the pre-match and a post match analysis along with football expert Novy Kapadia.

Mr. Himanshu Mody Business Head Zee Sports said, “We are delighted to acquire the rights for AFC Asian Cup 2007 Group A qualifier match between India and Japan. Zee Sports is committed to the development of Football in the country and will continue in our efforts to accentuate the game to a new popularity level.” He further added, “ With rejuvenated Indian national team taking on Japan, the match is poised to have a lot of action and drama.”

India warmed up in their preparation for their opening AFC Asian Cup 2007 qualifying matches by sharing a 2-2 draw at the Hong Kong Stadium on Saturday against Hong Kong. Japan also warmed up for their Asian Cup qualifier against India with a 2-0 win over Finland on Saturday.
