of the Haath Se Haath Milaa watch the Yuva Star Ranjana Bhatnagar from Roorkee
accepting a challenge thrown to her by Neha Dupia - to organize an exciting outdoor
expedition for Roorkee youth, and to use the occasion to raise awareness about
HIV/AIDS. Kunal Kapoor who is already in Roorkee to learn more about Ranjana’s
work, offers to join the adventure and help her with the challenge. Haath
Se Haath Milaa, produced by the BBC World Service Trust in partnership with the
National AIDS Control Organisation and Doordarshan, is seen by millions of viewers
across India. This week experience the story of Yuva Star - Ranjana Bhatnagar,
a social worker working largely with women and gender empowerment. Ranjana’s
work has impacted many villages in Roorkee by raising awareness about HIV/AIDS.
Her most outstanding contribution was in making rural, Dalit, conservative
women, living in a patriarchal society, talk openly about sex, sexual health,
condoms and AIDS. Watch this challenging session with two committed
Bollywood Stars: Kunal Kapoor and Neha Dhupia spreading AIDS/HIV awareness with
