Commencing its fourth year birthday anniversary on April 24, 2006 with a bang, the 21 lakh listeners of Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM from across Mumbai have reason enough to celebrate with India's spiciest radio station.

Radio Mirchi has undertaken a makeover - a new youthful FM radio station with a strong Mumbai connect - totally cosmopolitan in style and with lots of pizzazz and attitude!!! The playlist will also be much younger with songs from 1985 onwards. Radio Mirchi will launch Mumbai's very own sleuth - "Secret Shinde… Pehele Tehkikaat, Phir Vaat" whose job will be to investigate various happenings in the city, and update Mumbaikars on his findings.
