Tanishq unveils a dazzling array of diamond sets

Mumbai, August 29, 2005 - Tanishq, India's leading jewellery brand known for its innovative designs unveiled a breath taking range of intricately crafted diamond sets made in 18K gold. This collection will showcase Tanishq's design expertise and product innovation through unique patterns and color schemes that have been used to enhance the brilliance of diamonds. Tanishq has also announced the 'Life's little celebrations' slogan contest which will run from, 25th August to, 15th September and the lucky winner will be entitled to win a precious Tanishq diamonds set.

The Diamond sets have been designed to present a woman with the opportunity to celebrate the little everyday joys of her life by pampering herself with an entire diamond set. This collection will add a sparkle to woman's daily celebrations by making the universal beauty and style of diamonds more accessible to a woman.

The versatile ethno contemporary setting for the collection lends it an allure that is highlighted by the unique pressure setting method that delivers more value and holds greater visual appeal for the customer. The pressure setting technique holds smaller diamonds together in a cluster to make it look like one large luminous diamond.

Commenting on the occasion Ms Harman Dhillon, Brand Manager Tanishq said, "The aura and mystery associated with diamonds lends it an eternal and timeless quality. We have tried to capitalize on the growing awareness and popularity of diamonds in the Indian context. This collection aims to create a shift in the jewellery buying patterns by tempting consumers to opt for an entire diamond set rather than buying single piece/pieces of diamond jewellery. Through this collection Tanishq will cater to customers who wish to buy into the elite club of diamond set owners."

"The collection will appeal to a woman's sense of romance and extravagance since it will put beautiful diamond sets within her easy reach. The rationale behind the collection was to make it possible for women to own whole diamond sets and buy it at a time convenient for her and not be bound to an occasion led purchase. We have tried to create jewellery that a woman can own and wear whenever she wants to reward herself," Ms Harman Dhillon, Brand Manager further added

Combining intricate designs with innovative designing the exclusive Tanishq diamond sets will be priced between Rs 20,000 to 1, 50,000 and will be available in select Tanishq stores across key cities.
