place. METs
research and understanding of the PR Industry showed that there is a dire need
for trained ready-to-be-absorbed PR professionals. Through discussions with METs
esteemed PR faculty and corporates, we ideated a PG programme in Executive Diploma
in Public Relations Management (EDPRM) for aspirants who wish to make a mark in
the PR industry. We envisage that METs holistic programme EDPRM will allow
quality personnel to enter the PR world and thus contribute to the growth of the
PR industry says Mayura Amarkant, Chief Course Coordinator MET IMM.
MET IMM outlined
the syllabus, curriculum, prospectus, admission process, evaluation and certification
system for this professional EDPRM programme, which was then reviewed and endorsed
by the PRCAI. Industry professionals from PRCAI will deliver several modules for
this programme at MET. At the same time various leading PR professionals from
the industry will also share practical, hands-on knowledge with the students.
