| MUMBAI:
Gael Monfils will be seen in action for the first time at the SA Tennis Open 2010,
to be played at the palatial grounds of the Montecasino complex, Johanneburg.
After a third round exit from the recently concluded Australian Open, the world
no. 12 will look to bounce back in this tournament. Ten Sports will beam live,
all the action from this event. Feliciano
Lopez will be the other player making a debut at the SA Tennis Open. He impressed
at the Australian Open as he pushed Andy Roddick (world no.7) to four sets. He
would be hoping to carry that form into this tournament. The SA Tennis
Open is a new ATP fixture, as in 2009, the ATP World Tour tennis returned to South
Africa after a 13-year gap. It used to be called the South African Open but after
the hiatus, it was rechristened the SA Tennis Open. |
